It's been a thoroughly wet day, certainly dark enough to confuse Tudor (hope you're feeling better). 8.0mm prior to 09:00, 18.8mm since. Still raining, but much lighter and the clearance isn't far away. The windsreen wiper blade flew off the car this morning, fortunately the passenger side, flew over the roof and probably bounced off the car behind. Added some interest to an otherwise tedious journey.
Quite exciting on the surf front. Fairly big & impressive today, http://magicseaweed.com/Live-Sennen-Webcam/65/ and biggish all week, really big Thursday/Friday. 20' with an 18sec period at Sennen. http://magicseaweed.com/Sennen-Surf-Report/4/ It could be huge off western Ireland by that time. Graham Penzance Only 0.5 mm this morning and not much more than a couple of mm since (guess). Slowly emerging from fever-induced torpor and and weird time misperception. I did some washing and had to whack up the central heating for drying, such is the mildness. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, NE Surrey, 557 ft, 169 m. |
