still some icy patches on hard surfaces but they are melting
quickly now.

RMK: A dank, drippy evening. Fog developed around 0910 and
has persisted all day with the vis fluctuating between
50m and 300m. During the afternoon there's been spells
of slight drizzle. Max temp 6.4 so far. The first 6 days
of the month have produced only 1.5 hours of sunshine. Even
for here that's pretty dire.
