Amen to all that.

Some years ago, expecting his site to be taken down at some point, I
took the precaution of downloading all the 1962-3 stuff so that I'd be
able to refer to it, but so far it's proved unnecessary.

I recall for several consecutive winters hw would post the daily
62/63 summaries on the day in question. A fascinating insight as
to how the winter evolved in 'real time' as it were.
