The answer seems to be yes. But it's simple and quick to get a Google
account - what's the problem?

For various reasons, I don't want to create a Google account and without
doing that it would seem that all I can do is read not write.

Pathetic. Most weather bulletin boards allow you to read posts without
joining anything. Eg UKWW.
I don't have a Google account either, why should I. Google seem intent on
taking over the whole bloomin net with their tentacles.

Why do you suppose we were willing to waste all that money on fraud in the EU?
All the youkay has accomplished in reasserting independence is freeing Teresa May to do what she always wanted with GCHQ. Or were you being disingenuous?

You should link your account to Google and create a throwaway that you onlu use to sign into Google's network. Or you should et an email with google because you want to make the use of an account you can comment to Youtube with store articles on Google docs and work with other users to create whatever.

And you should get an address to get the 15 GB of storage free. But if you have to join a network you don't want so you can post on a forum?
Get an different forum you ned.
