Actually looks like it may produce some lower temperatures than almost
any time last winter down here. Also I think it may be a winter of "topplers". We had a number of winters a few years back which were generally mild with a number of not especially cold or long lasting northerlies. I see with this one the GFS continues to adopt that pattern it has so many times in recent years whereby it programs a small low pressure running down the North Sea briefly bringing rain, sleet or snow only to readjust daily for it to be further East with the snow ending up in Northern Greece. Seems to be the case again here. Dave |
