The problem with you posting these links Lawrence is that they're out of date within 6 hours as the next model version is out and it overwrites it. Was this the 00Z run? The 06Z run?

The 00Z run was getting the resident coldies excited on TWO board.
Trouble is, that the cold plunge was in la la land at T+384 on GFS.

I never suggested or said it was cold Richard , just that it was a low down at lower than usual latitude, i.e. the middle of the north Atlantic.

Yes Richard, how to lock the links in time. I notice now that my original link has now become its complete opposite with the high swapping places with that low. Mind you it did look odd, but the change in the models is welcome and I just hope GFS has sniffed out a possibility of a Northerly blast. Nah, probably be a SW when the day arrives.
