This month's sunshine total has now passed 100 hours and joins with
December and January in all having 100+ hours of sunshine. This makes it the sunniest winter since I started recording sunshine in 2006. Winter 2014/15 sunshine: December = 103.5 hours January = 105.0 hours February = 102.4 hours (up to 26th). February sunshine: 2014 = 113 hours 2013 = 78 hours 2012 = 96 hours 2011 = 53 hours (dullest of any month recorded). 2010 = 67 hours 2009 = 69 hours 2008 = 135 hours 2007 = 61 hours. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |
