The real reason why the much-loved Pebble Mill at One was
mysteriously axed has just emerged thanks to papers released under
the 30-year rule. The program which ran from 1972 to 1986

Unless I overslept greatly last night, 1986-2015 is 29 years, not 30...

It was mentioned at CABINET meetings this time in 1985.

What is 'it'? In the 445 pages of 1985 Cabinet minutes there are
precisely zero mentions of climate change or global warming, nor
indeed of Pebble Mill.

Sir Nicholas Ridley, who became environment secretary in 1986,
answered a question on it in 1985.

So 'it' is most likely climate change, which would not be surprising
since it is well known that the PM mentioned it around this time.

IT is in hansard, unless that has been ALTERED. Look up Keith Joseph
and Ridley its incredible what went on

Why don't you tell us what was going on, and why you think it was
'incredible'. I doubt that it had anything to do with Pebble Mill
though.

How can there not be a conspiracy here with Pebble Mill and the Prime
Minister share the same initials??

and Peirs Morgan. So that proves it.
