What chances of an El Nino considering it has been over 3.5 years since the last El Nino?
Would you believe it is possible to have two La Ninas since then? Despite all the foregoing, someone thinks that the PDO has remained in a negative phase for years and sees it all as somehow linked with solar cycles which, at present is at a particularly low peak and solar output has not been high. (I must say, that is news to me. But I spent most of winter in the dark.) Not that that means much to global temperatures but could point to global temperatures unless they don't -but they do, so it will. That there is, of course, is crystal clear. As globes, they become interesting and the likely record temperatures are also likely to coincide with the year of the Paris Hilton Climax where the world's relations will agree a new agreement covering all countries that agree. |
