It's strange that nearly all the temperatures on there, even the minimums, are in positive territory. It's often that at this time of year you see the 'and finally' items on the news showing people in Moscow cutting through thick ice for a seasonal dip. But look at the current temps 2.4C and -0.9C. Unless there is a big change any sudden easterly will not be anything special. Perhaps a deep, powerful northerly is the best hope for anyone who wants snow any time soon?
