**On Sunday 22nd December a zonal pattern will have become

predominantly be for W-SW'ly directions with frontal systems

crossing the UK. This set up will be producing bands of rain

(some heavy, especially in the more NW'ly parts of the UK) and

temperatures averaging above normal. Periods of mild, wet

weather will be interrupted by more showery interludes with

temporary drops in temperature but there will be no sustained

significant cold. There will be strong winds at times with

Scotland more often but not exclusively experiencing the

strongest winds.**

Owlfish.

Is this an example of back-casting from a forecast chart or what?

Errr or a dawlish sock?

The latter, I assume.

Don't be silly.

I was having a senior moment, and for some reason thought that by

"Dawlish sock" Weatherlaywer meant someone pretending to be you, rather

than you pretending to be someone else.
