Some cold next week (mainly central and east) but the really severe stuff
will wait another week.

The Atlantic is active at present but the situation is far from zonal with
the blocking high to the east and nothing to shove the main polar jet to
point strongly straight at it which is what we need to shift it, the flow is
too "wavy" for that for want of a simple explanation. Ensembles are trending
downwards in temperature later this week and in El Nino years mid and late
winters tend to be colder than normal in Europe.

Ciao, :-)

Wonder what the great one thinks of this forecast now. Anyone care to comment?????

Blimey, so Lawence13 is the only one with an opinion on this. It deserves attention. NOW
