Default (WR) Very wet!

Heavy rain started at 19.00 BST with thunder and lightning until around
21.30, heavy rain then persisted through to the early hours.

50.8 mm in around 8 hours, wettest day on record (1960-2013) beating the
previous record of 46.5 mm set on 15/9/94

July average (1981-2010) 56.6 mm

Total for this month stands at 82.4mm, was looking very dry until last
evening
