Yesterday my wife pointed out to me that on the packet of said sausages
was a competition to predict the temperature at 2pm in your local area. Having many years ago been the instigator of a similar competition on here I thought I would go to the link and have a go. After all there was a prize of £1 for every deg C! So having consulted the charts, decided the Met Office forecast of 21C was undercooked ;-) I went for 22.5C. Of course it all went t's up and ended up being another magnificent sunny day with temp at 2pm being 28C. Looking at the charts though I still might get my bangers later for supper ;-) Dave |

Richard I think it's far older than that, though I can't recall when I heard it first. -- John Hall "Sir, I have found you an argument; but I am not obliged to find you an understanding."
