There seems to have been a "hotspot" to the north of the North Downs in
a belt just along the Thames Estuary. I usually tie up well with
Gravesend but today I had 29.5C. Other local unoffficial stations close
to me recorded:-
Corringham 30.4C, Hadleigh 30.2C, Chadwell St Mary 29.7C,

I reckon something like that as all the higher temps were from sations
along and just North of the Thames and all have been agreeing well with
Gravesend etc hithertoo.
