A totally different sort of day yesterday with low cloud, hill mist and some sea fog. Temperatures were virtually the same everywhere down here, with the max between 20 & 21C at St Ives, Land's End, St Mary's & Penzance, not far from the 18-19C SST.

It was very unusual with the lack of sun (until late afternoon) such high humidity, and both the air & sea temperature (over some beaches) near 20C, there was no shock of contrasting temperatures going into the sea. Still flat http://www.sennen-cove.com/todaysurf.htm

No rain here last night. Minimum temperature 17.3C. Currently (10:15) 20.2C with sunny spells. Fairly harmless looking broken Sc over the sea http://www.landsendweather.info/ - the cliffs are now brown. It's going to be one of those days for warm sunshine on windward coasts, and rapidly developing Cu just behind.
