Couple of tips through the night and more distant rumblings and flashes out east gave a total of 7.1mm. Max yesterday was, briefly, 34C on AWS - 33.8C mercury-in-glass. Though Heathrow and Northolt were the official high I believe the longer duration of sun tipped it in our balance. They are normally within 0.1 - 0.2C of one another... |
