I may be wrong, and happy to acknowledge so, but recently I am sure I
read an item stating that "hot summers" are a thing of the past for a while. I have been trying to find the relevant reference but my search mojo has deserted me. However the last week has been quite unbearable and the electricity supply at work has overloaded sufficiently to blow a 600Amp fuse at the intake, probably due to our power hungry kit and the air-con at the same time. So if someone would kindly like to predict an end to this torture and a return to low 20s I would be grateful. Here in E. Herts it is 27.7C, 41%rH and 1014mb at 19:50BST. |
