Interestingly, the maximum at Hurn occurred during a short spell late
in the afternoon when the METAR temperature went from 29 at 1550Z to
31 at 1620Z as the light wind veered from S to W to NW-NNW within an
hour, and for the first time that afternoon came off the runway which
is 150 metres NNW of the instrument enclosure.

So I suspect the hot runway for the Hurn maximum but, I wonder, is 150
metres close enough for a hot runway to have such an effect?
