Hot and sunny but not quite unbroken because the few puffs
of shallow Cu have nabbed a total of about ten mintues of our
sunshine.

The maximum air temperature fell just shy of +30C, the hottest
day of 2013 so far but of greater significance, it is the highest
temperature since 26th July 2006, the last time we've equalled
or exceeded +30C here.

The gentle northerly breeze has slackened and become variable,
even a fitful southerly as I suspect a late arrival of a weak sea
breeze is close at hand.
