Default Blow the wind southerly

A sharp burst of rain around 6-30 bst this morning which after drying out
has left an appreciable covering of Saharan dust on me car.
Can't tell if its Lybian ,Moroccan, or Ramsgate ,who would know ?

Also Ron you could look at the trajectories at this site:

http://www.wetter3.de/trajektorien.html

That indicates that the air over London at 700 mbar at 19/00 was over
Algeria 4 days ago, and Morocco 2 days ago.

Here are two images of that region from the 15th/16th, showing areas of dust
being lifted.
