A strange question I know - but here in Porthcawl (S. Wales) another day
of snow flurries, but as we travelled around I noticed all the grass showed a strange mixture of colours. Lots of brown verging on purple, some bits of yellow, and what green there is, is very dark. I can only imagine it is has been caused by the succession of biting night time frosts, with winds still gusting to 20km or more. I am hoping it will recover, but I can't remember seeing such large tracts of grass looking so unhealthy. Cheers James |
