According to the MetO, "Rain should ease in western Cornwall during the evening"
Perhaps a glance at the radar http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ or satellite imagery http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_uk_vis.html might tell them it's not just eased, but has cleared west Cornwall, about 8 hours early. I suppose a 'wave' might bring it back, but there's no sign of that currently.. Total of 45mm here for the event, which was approx 03:00 on 21st to 10:00 today, heaviest rain yesterday evening.
