Default [OT] Arizona snow

Just watching the WGC Accenture Matchplay golf on TV from Arizona.
Desert scenes with golfers in the sun turned to torrential rain. They
said it was cold. This in itself looked odd with the rain lashing the
sand and cacti. Then turned sleety and then play abandoned as it turned
to heavy snow. Course completely covered in minutes and now been heavy
snow for an hour. They were expecting transient sleet. Must have been one
of thodse marginal situations! I imagine there is a fair bit of altitude
involve because the same thing happened a couple of years ago. Fantastic
shots of desert snow.
