Default Snowing Moderately SE London

Started about 1pm coming down thick and fast. Looking at the radar there seems to be another geren yellow bob over the Solent making its way NE . Be interesteing to see how this develops. There's nothing on the main page from my vicinity of Bromley on UKMO

Coo, so it is. But not thick and fast, and melting before they reach the
ground here in Blackheath. Temperature reading 2.6, so no chance, I'd
have thought.

Hello Kate . Yes the snow lasted for an hour here and didn't settle.
Out of intrest though: Blackheath I thought I knew it fairly well until just before Chritmas I met some work colleagues in that pub the Crown. As a consequence I parked up on Goffers Road and for the first time ever realised there was several small roadsof lovely Victorian properties sunk deep into the Heath. I'm talking about Blackheath Vale. It looks really nice and was such a surprise to know that it existed after over the years driving through the Village and the Heath and never seeing it.

These days the pond is called Princess of Wales Pond, after the pub on
the corner which was originally named for and sported a picture of
Princess Alexandra, but not now (shame, I think). It's gone all bouffant
and maudlin.
