Well in my humble opinion if you do decide to wade in I hope you pause first and take a deep breath and factor in the fact that they've a) paid your wages for most of your working life and b) pay your pension now (unless I'm mistaken).



The money comes from the treasury I suppose and the pension is managed by some pension administration company. I'm not sure the Met Office has much involvement.

There was an ex Scientific Assistant who became an MP a few years back and he didn't hesitate to criticise his former employer.
