Mod thunderstorm with rain 1518 to 38z at Wokingham. 18 discharges noted,
all but one CC. From 1523 to 34z all the lightning was overhead, or nearly so, rather surprising considering the strength of the flow and movement of the cells on the radar. There seems to have been electrical interaction between two cells aligned along the flow and about 20km apart. The rain was heavy in short pulses, but never torrential here. -- Bernard Burton Wokingham Berkshire. Weather data and satellite images at: http://www.woksat.info/wwp.html |
