Persistent thick fog-not for years. Even post Clean Air Act they used to

Crikey yes... can remember two amazing fogs. One in the mid-sixties where I ended up walking in the middle of the road without realising it. The second was in 1984 where I ended up driving a circuitous route because I knew it better than my intended route. I remember actually walking into a lampost when I was young - pre alcohol days as well. I mean, you just can't believe it was that thick. |
