couple of days ago for this county, we've now had two days with short, sharp downpours, and over the 48 hours we've had a total of 32 mm of rain. However, this only brings the month's total to 38 mm, representing around two-fifths of the 1981-2010 eLTA. Often in those situations the TCu/CB etc., is obscured by lower cloud, but yesterday the individual cells could be seen advancing 'up the line' quite clearly - good enough for me to dash out to the shops without getting wet!
