We have now had one day of "decent" weather since Christmas. Almost every day bar last Sunday has been dire with it barely getting light during the day. I can't wait for the change to come next week so long as it brings some clear skies. I'm not bothered about a cold spell anymore as that looks as far off as ever but the promise of normal High Pressure next week is welcome. This is why I prefer cold to mild - because there is less chance of it being like this! Dave Aside from the wind, I'm rather thankful for it. I have a 200km bike ride this coming weekend, and it's much easier to spend 10 hours on a bike when it's 10C than when it's 0C. The dull, wet conditions are largely immaterial - I'll be riding in the dark for the first two hours! The recent high rainfall means a lot of the Norfolk lanes will be Skoggy in the extreme, so that'll be fun. There are ways to enjoy mild weather. |
