Haven't been above 5C since Nov 19th, apart from brief periods of about 7C on the 29th Dec and just over 5C on the 30th. -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |

Same here Dave, November 12th when we just scraped 10.0c! 7.0c here at 6.10 today, then a rapid drop to 2.6c by 8.40, so mild air didn't last long this time! At least it should be much more comfortable working outside for a week or so with the warmer air arriving. Warmest here since December 30th when we hit 7.0c. Much better day today with even to odd sunny spell, after yesterdays heavy snow, then sleet, then rain showers, yuk!! Still we did managed our 2nd snow falling and snow lying day though I don't reckon we will see many more for a while ![]() Current temp 3.0c Graham |

The sun is nice isn't it - very pleasant to sit out in earlier. Current temp. here at 1225 is +5.0C You seem to have had an awesome December. We only managed 15 days snow cover 50% in total. Though my depth was greater. Lying snow for any length of time in December is not that common up here, quite normal for February but not December when the seas are still relatively warm. Bonos, what is the Teignmouth mean max. for this time of year, I'm guessing around +9.5C which would make 12.0C a normal mild max. if you see what I mean. It probably felt warmer after the recent long cold spell. It's possible you could make +14.0C next week! Bikinis on the beach :-)) Will -- |
