![]() Last night gave the 9th successive air frost despite being in this wonderful coastal location. This beats the previous record of eight successive air frosts from 3rd to 10th Feb 1991. Records began in 1983. However this time we have had no ice days with subzero max. Am I allowed to mention GW in this context? Last night's min was the lowest for this cold spell with -5.4C. This was the lowest since 7 Jan 2009 when it was -6.5C. It has now just started raining and summer is on its way. Len Wood Wembury, SW Devon 83 m asl |
