Default All the Anticipation, allthe Waiting

Okay after almost a week of excited drooling and rapture; we now come down
to the crunch and will that be the crunch of wide-spread snow? Me; I'll go
with hunch and that hunch is already it's shaping up to be a very cold
period but with very patchy white precipitation .

Can this eagerly awaited cold period live up to all the hype? Well as we
stand on the cusp my DaveC pessimism, scepticsim and realism comes into
play and I feel it will be all over before Eskimo's Will's cork can be
removed from his Champagne bottle. If Will's warnings of a serious snow
event fail to materialize I hope he doesn't expect to have his kayak and
heat it ;-)

All looks a bit flabby this morning on the pressure charts at first
glance (not really looked in much detail) - but what a roaring
easterly next week in the EC/GFS - now that would be messy! Due to be
in Paris on Wednesday, I wonder if that'll happen...

This is what is called the 'suckers wait' Lawrence.
For us in Will's World in the Southwest it is peeing with rain. One
heavy shower after another.
LOL
Temp. 7 degC. A typical wet, cloudy and cold November day.
