Does not feel like 33mm as the burn is not raging due to the snow
above in the catchment area. Little wind here at the moment. Nice to see the snow all around the valley sides, the type of day that one of the farmers will proudly race down the hill to parade his snow covered 4x4 in the village! brian aberfeldy |

There was a well covered Defender outside the Co-op in town this morning. Must admit I have driven carefully with a few inches of snow on when going to work down in Sunderland or Newcastle... -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |

Must admit I have driven carefully with a few inches of snow on when going to work down in Sunderland or Newcastle... I pose in winter as well! I try to get to work in Exeter (20 mile drive) with snow on the car (though it usually melts by then in the warm lowland Devon climate). I can pose 900 feet just down the hill in Bovey Tracey though :-) Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) -- |

As you say the warm lowland air normally puts paid to most of it before I get there. Nearly made it to Sunderland once with a couple of inches remaining but miss judged how loose it had all come on a round about... Depositing that amount of ice/snow on the road is why driving with that amount of snow on board is technically illegal. -- Cheers Dave. Nr Garrigill, Cumbria. 421m ASL. |
