Phew thank God for that!. I was getting rather worried-at least some
things don't change unlike the climate and weather. You know I kept
checking that dust fallout chart and had visions of your caravan
nothing but a little hump in a sea of volcanic debris.

Funnily enough my wife and I were down 'sarf' London (Sydenham) late
last year, picking up a new tow car for the caravan. The area certainly
doesn't need volcanic ash to make it hell, no wonder you feel the need
to vent your frustration on this newsgroup.

Give me the space, including inbreeds and sheep, here on the beautiful
Isle of Man any day.

Jim you would have read from any of my Sydenham posts that I don't rate it
that highly. Not like the days when Shackleton lived here, apparently as
part of his Antarctic preparations he'd make the journey to Iceland's in
Penge.

As for your yearning for the sheep I'd keep that to yourself if you want my
advice, as it only strengthens stereotypes. Have you ever blown a seal with
all that caravan towing?
