Default 7 days dry but snow remains Aberfeldy

Back to walking on the top of the snow today (14cm) after 2 days of
sinking below. 7 dry days now and lovely and sunny today. I must take
a pic of the snowfield just at the edge of Aberfeldy, where we have
been dumping our town center snow. Huge 15 feet mountains of dirty
snow - about half a footy pitch of it. Over 60 days of snow at 0900
now.

And amazing to read that there are still roads with snow problems,
so long after the last snow.

Was down on the south coast yesterday whale watching.
Of course there had been virtually no snow there this winter,
but what was most noteworthy to the locals was the total lack of
gales.
Apparently they'd normally expect ten or a dozen genuine gales in
any winter. Fledgling tea plantations have just about survived.
