Spring sprung this year with
Max 10.3C, Min 0.8C.
This was confirmed as the start of the mating season as the blackbirds
in my garden are busy building nests.
Me? I am too old. :-(

Coldest 1st March I have recorded here was in 1986 (had snowed a few
days previously):
Max 1.2C, Min -2.6C

Warmest
in 1999:
Max 12.7C, Min 8.5C

Of interest, snow fell on 1st March 1993:
Max 6.4C, Min -2.0

Max. +8.7C here today which felt warmish in the sun.
Still not had 10C or more yet this year though!
A nice late winter's day.
