Default Any weather reports from the Grampians or Highlands?

It would be interesting to hear how much snow is falling up yonder, the
precipitation band on radar there has been pretty static for many an hour
now. I would imagine there's some very significant accumulations?
Alex.

NH 706645

0745: small hail NE F2 +2c
0900: snow NE F3 0c
1200 - present: incessant rain NE F4/5 +1c

In a word - vile. Seems to have washed all the road grot off my car
though - well, one side anyway.

Traffic scotland webcams shows snow away from coasts and at higher
elevations ie Grantown on Spey / Huntly etc. Usual locations for white
stuff.

Variation of sleet and snow here since first light. In the region of 3-5cm
accumulates and is then washed away. Currently (2147z) we are in an
accumulation phase, temp. fixed at +1.0C. and wind gusting to F5-6. The
problems will come later if (when) the cloud clears and the temperature
drops. Looking across at the hills, it seems to be total snow above about
200m. The Struie road is probably closed now.
