Same temperature at 0900z here, Brian, but 5cm of freash snow and frequent
heavy snow showers are piling it up again.

Just 1cm from a shower around 10am down here in Wishaw, mind you that's 1cm
more than I expected today. I came out of a meeting at 10.30am and was very
surprised to see the company car park white again for the first time in
twelve days (apart from the shoveled mounds that persisted right through).
Very fresh north westerly today, not a direction that we see often in the
sheltered middle of the central lowlands, it's often cut off by the
highlands and modified into another direction.

The mean temperature for the month is now -0.08șC here, very close to being
positive. It's anybody's call as to which way it will fall now. If the wind
eases during the next couple of nights we should remain negative. - Please,
lol.

Alex
