Rob McElwee and the majority of forecasters, that's who. To quote Rob
himself after the 10:30 BBC1 news: "I feel a bit embarrassed that I was one of the, admittedly majority of forecasters, that missed the bleedin' obvious. It was going to warm up everywhere, just a little bit, not enough to kill all the snow but to mean that coastal rain was more likely than coastal snow." It's good that he's man enough to own up, interesting choice of words too! ![]() -- Dave |

I mean, even Will got it wrong! ;-) -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks., UK. E-mail: newsman not newsboy "I wear the cheese. It does not wear me." |

All smack dab over one tight plot of land as it happens. Unsurprisingly the plate fiends have totally ignored the concept once more. (For reasons that are bleeding obvious.) |
