VIS at 1645 600M sky obscured in mod snow, now much lighter.
Very slow moving traffic through town, NO sign of any gritting
lorries.

Very similar here in Bletchley. Mod wet snow, was heavy for a time,
settling freely on all surfaces, again no sign of any gritting, and many
of the roads were very icy this morning. Tomorrow will be "interesting"
if the temperature drops and there's no treatment.
