Default Cold snap ending?

Well the short cold snap appears to be ending now. It is raining and winter
wonderland is slowly receding. Back to the horrible grey cold rain by the
looks of it. Still - it was a fabulous few days here although I would
imagine some parts of the country might be wondering what all the fuss was
about.

Strangely enough, this part of the country is almost the opposite! Today
is the coldest of the entire spell (at least so far) and the only day on
which we've had lying snow, albeit just a dusting.

It was snowing in Exeter, according to an earlier post, so Will should
be in the thick of it by now ;-)
