Default North Sea Showers ?

I notice they are still running down the east coast and missing the
Essex/Suffolf coastal regions. With the fronts coming down from the
north pushing a ridge before they arrive, surely the wind will veer and
more to the east before backing and drag more showers our way?

A slight flurry a few minutes ago and a note to say the temperatures
risen from -0.6°C to -0.3°C in last 10 minutes, must be picking
something off the north sea again.
DP -1.9°C
Wind N 4mph

Tropical here in Margate! Max here reached 3.2 this afternoon. We've
only had sleety showers. The sea just two minutes walk down the road
from me has kept us warm. I suspect we'll get our coldest weather from
tomorrow onwards when we get a wind off the land.

NW'lys are always refreshing here in Ramsgate.

The METO (via BBC) is going for heavy snow in Ramsgate tonight. We'll
see...
