SW Devon seemed to top the list as wettest yesterday 7 Oct.
Rain total of 29.4 mm in Wembury 00Z-23.59Z. This agreed with Plymouth Uni AWS value at rooftop site (55m) of 30 mm and Met Office Plymouth AWS site above Mount Batten (40m) of 30 mm. Nice to see totals agreeing over 15 km or so in these frontal conditions. The Met Office does get some things right! Len Wood Wembury, SW Devon, 79 m amsl |

Len Wood Wembury, SW Devon, 79 m amsl Hello Len and welcome to another South-Westie! 22mm in Teignmouth yesterday and that adds Teignmouth to the other thread's list as having more rain in the first week of October, as fell in the whole of September 2009. Today couldn't be more of a contrast here. Sparkling blue skies and sunshine! A superb morning. Will can keep his love of rain. I'd rather wake up to this anyday! |
