Thick fog at Postbridge (50 metres visibility). Fog now cleared at Haytor,
but everywhere damp and humid, with vegetation sopping wet and cloudy.
Temperature at 0945 14.9C (RH 99%). Possibility of a bit of brightness
this afternoon, but I'm not holding my breath. Rain and gales for the moor
for the rest of the week. Hey Ho we're used to it and the rain keeps
things fresh and clean!

Fog has returned to Haytor (less than 50 metres visibility, circa 100 metres
at Postbridge). Some drizzle in it now for good measure. House lights
required. Temperature 14.6C (gone down).

I reckon the tourists will be leaving early today! :-)
Yesterday car parks only half full, but who would want to come up here in
this weather?

Will

Temperature rising nicely here at Southend-on-Sea, cloud has broken up
and almost a clear blue sky now. Bank Holiday! Nah.
