Default East Dorset ... rain somewhat disappointing

.... 4.5 mm overnight, with a monthly total of 14 mm (Hurn 4 mm
overnight / 15 mm monthly): could do with much more - already
evaporating well before the current DZRA started.
I note that totals overnight were higher to the north and east though,
with St. Catherine's Point and Shoreham on 18 mm and Odiham on 15 mm
in 12hr to 06Z (ex. WeatherOnline).

A massive 4 mm fell here last night successfully damping the dust but I
suspect it will all be dry again as soon as the sun makes an appearance.

Gradually warming up now after a cool start (overnight min 10.1C).

Disappointing- allegedly some showeres later. More 'proper ' rain
tomorrow? Well- three days of warnings exist ( or they did
yesterday...)

You are right Martin, here in N Somerset we had 16mm up to 09Z and
most of that fell after 05Z

43mm so far this month.
