Snow cover again in Brussels this evening
Brussels on Monday 24th March
Bright in the morning with some sunshine. Remnants of yesterday evening’s snow visible at first but it had gone by midday. From about 13.30 local time much more cloudy with a series of brisk snow showers whitening the ground temporarily. Showers of soft hail between 17.00 and 18.00 – again turning the ground white. Thunder reported from the Airport but I didn’t hear anything. More snow showers late evening with a snow cover once again by midnight. Even colder than yesterday – light to moderate W to NW wind with stronger gusts in showers. Brussels Uccle 4.6°C - overnight minimum -0.1°C - and 6 mm rainfall. Brussels Airport 5.1°C - overnight minimum -0.1°C - and 5 mm.
