Default [WR] Romsey - drizzle and fog

After a promising improvement to broken cloud and
some blue sky this afternoon, low stratus and drizzle
arrived at 1810Z to be quickly joined by fog at 1820Z.
Currently:

SYNOP 27/1950Z

Details:
wind... WNW, force 1.
visibility... 600m (up from 400m an hour ago).
weather... slight drizzle (moderate 1845-1930Z)
and fog.
clouds... 6/8 ST base 100ft, 8/8 SC base 1500ft.
dry bulb... +9.1C.
dewpoint... +8.9C.
RH... 98%.
sea level pressure... 1031.5mb (rising then falling).
rainfall last hour... 0.1mm.

beaufort letters (1750-1850Z)... cm,cdom,cdof,cdf.
beaufort letters (1850-1950Z)... cdf,cddff,cdoff.

oops, a few lapses of concentration (that's what comes of
half watching the TV while tapping away at the computer)...
1) the dates in the messages should be the 26th (not 27th).
2) the double 'd' in the beaufort letters should only be a
single as the moderate drizzle lasted less than one hour.

Nigel (still foggy... the weather that is, as well as referring
to my brain!)
