Default TV weather forecasts - things that irritate me...

Why do they assume that everyone *loves* hot & sunny weather? It annoys
the hell out of me when they talk with glee about 'the temperature
hitting 30C and no sign of a breakdown'.

Why do they sometimes not bother with N.Atlantic pressure maps?

Why is it when they forecast weather you want, it never turns up, but
they have 100% success in predicting unpleasant stuff?

Because most people *do*. Or at least *warm* & sunny weather.

I would say that temperatures in excess of 30C are hot rather than warm
(personally I consider anything over 25C hot). I would therefore contest the
assumption that most people like it when the heat gets to that level.

Most people I know complain about hot/humid weather.

what irritates me is when (and it seems to happen most summers now) forecasters
describe hot sunny humid days of 30 C + as "georgeous"

At least low pressures generally pass through quickly; with highs

southeast England, either.

Hate to say it, but roll on autumn!
