I took this AVHRR picture a couple of days ago
http://www.meteosat.talktalk.net/200...8_08601-c5.jpg It is of the area to the west of Greenland between the Baffin Bay and Lincoln Sea. Surely this is normally solid ice at this time of the year. I am just wondering why the ice is breaking up there - almost as if there is an upwelling of warm water flowing south - what do others think? Cheers James -- James Brown |
